Obituary of Charlene Warner

Charlene Warner, 86, of Belvidere, NJ and previously of Washington, NJ passed away on July 20, 2022 at Country Arch Care Center, Union Twp., NJ. Charlene was born on January 8, 1936 in Washington, NJ to the late Gerald and Freda Warner. She was a graduate from Washington High School class of 1953 and worked for Elizabethtown Gas Company until her retirement in 1994. During her time there, she became the voice of the company, working as their radio announcer in numerous advertisements. Charlene loved nature, especially area lakes and beaches, and loved swimming, boating, and fishing. Primary in her life was her love for others and, ultimately, her love for God. Charlene is survived by her cousins: Martha Joan Weber and her husband Ronald, Cindy Peterson and her husband Scott, Nancy Weber, Glenn Weber and his wife Lori, Leslie Otten, David Wilkins, Denny Wilkins and his wife Sharon, Charles Lee, Pearl Eagan, Joanie Duryea and her husband Alan, and Charles Eagan and his wife Susan. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A service celebrating Charlene's life will take place in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial will immediately follow at Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hampton, NJ In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Charlene's name to The Samaritan's Purse International Relief at www.samaritanspurse.org.
