Obituary of Jean Vega

Jean Bailey-Vega, 81, of Washington Township, NJ passed away peacefully on June 16, 2022 at Hunterdon Medical Center. Jean was born on October 24, 1940 in Newton, NJ to the late Charles Bailey and Dorothy Washer-Bailey. Jean was a resident of Dover for many years and graduated from Dover High School in 1958. She was a homemaker all of her life. She was a long-time member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved listening to country and western music. She enjoyed crocheting, spending time with her family and friends, and donating to many different charities for the veterans and people and children in need. Jean is survived by her sons, Ramon Jimenez-Vega and his wife Susan Vega, and Robert Soto-Jimenez; 4 grandchildren Angel Velazquez, Nancy Velez, Leah Jimenez-Vega, Erika Jimenez-Vega and 6 great grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by a son Elias Vega Jr., a daughter Rosita Vega; and a granddaughter Samantha Vega; A memorial service will be held in her honor at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
