Obituary of Dorothy H. McCatharn

Dorothy H. McCatharn, 92, of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully on May 31, 2022 at Warren Haven Nursing Home in Mansfield Township, NJ. Dorothy was born in Clinton, NJ on October 16, 1929 to the late Herman and Minnie "Gano" Peoplesdorph. She graduated from Clinton High School class of 1947. She lived in Hampton on McKenzie Farm for 15 years. Dorothy was employed as a nurse for Mt Kipp and then moved to New Mexico to work at the Presbyterian Hospital until her retirement in 1987. Her loving husband Percy McCatharn passed away in 2002. Dorothy is survived by a son James McCatharn and his wife Ann; her loving companion Charles Schutts; sisters, Joyce A Dudek and her husband Richard and Deborah Ann Nylen and her husband Bradly; 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her brothers, William and Robert Peoplesdorph and a granddaughter, Angela. Funeral services and interment at Grandin Cemetery in Pittstown, NJ will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
