Obituary of Robert J Gascoyne

Rob was born on June 27, 1969 in Orange, NJ to Mary "Overly" Gascoyne and the late Richard Gascoyne. He grew up in Maplewood before moving to Raritan and eventually Clinton, NJ. Rob graduated Seton Hall Prep High School class of 1987. He went on to earn a degree in Geology from Lehigh University. Rob was employed as an Environmental Consultant for Matrix New World in Florham Park, NJ. He loved his family first, second, and third and then soccer and golf as his next in line. He was a member and coach of many local leagues including Pittstown FC "The Herd." He also coached his children's Soccer and baseball teams as part of Clinton Township youth sports teams. Rob was also invested in local businesses including the Sunken Silo and appreciated developing businesses that would help communities. He had wicked smarts, a contagious smile and an unmatched sense of humor. Rob can best be remembered for his kindness and generosity to others. He literally would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. Rob will be sadly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his mother, Mary. Rob is survived by his loving wife Wendy Kleiner-Gascoyne; a daughter, Ella Gascoyne; sons Leland Owens and Colson Gascoyne; sisters, Kathleen Harned (Jim) and Susan Lanzafame (Michael) and a brother, Richard Gascoyne Jr. (Lori); Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday May 5, 2022 from 12-1 PM at St. John Neumann Catholic Church. 398 County Road 513. Califon, NJ 07830. A Memorial service celebrating Robert's life will begin at 1:00 PM at the church.
