Obituary of Linda E. Brake

Linda E. Brake, 62, of Boonton, NJ passed away peacefully on March 3, 2022 at her home. Linda was born on February 26, 1960 in Chicago, IL to the late Ronald Brake and Charl "Dollinger" Brake. Linda graduated from Hunterdon Central High School class of 1978. She went on to earn her degree in education from the University of Scranton in 1982. Linda was employed as a teacher and later as an Administrative Assistant for Leslie Controls. Linda enjoyed playing word games and kept in touch with friends and family. She was also an avid reader, and Sci-Fi enthusiast and collected Star Wars memorabilia. Linda had strong interest in travelling, creative writing, and literature. Linda is survived by her mother, Charl Brake; sisters, Susan Bulmer and her husband Kenneth, Nancy Lynn and her husband Leo; Patricia Nagle and her husband Jeff and a brother, Michael Brake and his wife Shirley. Linda is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday March 9, 2022 from 10-11 AM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A celebration of Linda's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Washington.
