Obituary of William Heinrich

William "Bill" Heinrich, 73, of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully on March 3, 2022 at St. Luke's Warren Hospital. Bill was born on October 14, 1948 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Herman and Charlotte "Hazen" Heinrich. He graduated from West Morris High School class of 1968. He was employed as a Union Laborer for Local 472 in Newark, NJ for 35 years until his retirement in 2009. Earlier in his life he was employed at Bergen Machine and Tool Co. Bill was also employed with the NJ Forest Fire Service for 48 years and worked as a Fire Warden for some time until his retirement in 2018. He was a member of the Franklin Township Fire Department Fire/Police for 14 years. Bill enjoyed spending time with his loving family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren Bill also enjoyed fishing and hunting and working on his cars. He was also a past member of the CB Radio Club. Bill is survived by his daughters, Dawn Pensyl and her husband Verdon and Lisa Whitmore and her husband Eric; a brother James Heinrich and his wife Evie; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by parents, Herman and Charlotte Heinrich and brothers, Thomas, Herman and John Heinrich. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday March 11, 2022 from 4-8 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882.
