I met Nikole when she was 16 and we were both working at the Sports Scene Restaurant. We also bowled there together on the leagues. She was a wonderful bowler and the sweetest person I have ever met. I loved her sense of humor. She always had a kind word for everyone.

I had the privilege of working with Nik at Hunterdon Medical Center. We were also friends outside of work. She was a great colleague and friend. Even though I moved away from New Jersey a few years ago, we kept in touch via texts. Her text messages made me laugh since the were usually her joking and upbeat self. This world lost a good one but the next world got someone special. Rest easy Nik, you fought hard. Condolences to your family.

Nikole, you were one of my favorite people to ever walk this earth. I have thought how can I do this without you many times, but I know you wouldn’t want me to feel that way. I will still talk to you every single day as we did for years. I will still think of all our inside jokes and laugh to myself and look dumb. Each time I smell the ocean and hear the crash of the waves I will know you are near. Thank you for being my person in life. I’m so lucky I got to have you as long as I did. My children will miss you so much. You shared with Lydia the love of books, and Landon just adored you. Beyond missing you already, aching for you? Whatever it is, it hurts but I know you are no longer hurting so that gives me peace. I love you, someday I’ll get that missing piece of me back again when we reunite. With all my heart, Michele Ursino (your Gin)

My deepest condolences to Nikole's beloved son, husband, parents, family and friends. May her memory be eternal and may our memories give us comfort and peace. I will always remember Nikole's brilliant smile and tender heart. She always had the right thing to say when a coworker needed a boost or needed a helping hand. Fly with the angels my friend! Until we meet again! You are so loved!

Nicole was a shining light during my stressful visit to HMC ER. She provided a reassuring presence. My heart goes out to her families, especially her Father, Uncle Bob, and Aunt Christina. This is a devastating loss for the many lives she has touched.

I grew up with her parents and grandparents on her father's side. A great family. When I took my wife to the ER at Hunterdon, she was the most competent and compassionate professional in the room. A terrible loss in a world that needs more people like her.
