We were very sad to hear of Michael's passing and send our sincerest condolences to the Kovacs family. Michael and Barbara were an incredible couple and were always about family. We spent many memorable times with both Michael and Barbara, especially when Mike was Mayor of Washington Township. He will be greatly missed. Merrie and Eric Bernstein.

Cindy and I were so sad to hear that Mike is gone and want to extend our sympathies to the family. He and Barbara were wonderful people who graciously welcomed us into their family when Ben married Miranda in 2005. We immediately felt like we were part of the big, warm-hearted and fun-loving Kovacs clan and had a great time with them. Mike was a terrific guy with a wonderful sense of humor who liked nothing more than smoking his pipe and regaling us with funny stories about the family and Washington Township. Mike's and Barbara's kids and grandkids - including our grandkids Jake and Ethan - were genuinely blessed to have had them as parents, grandparents, and role models - and they will be missed by everyone who knew them. We were certainly blessed to have known them. Our hearts go out to Miranda, Mary, MIchaela, Michael, Matt, Marc and the rest of the family. Gregg & Cindy Prillaman

He coached us a long time ago, but his leadership, encouragement, bemusement, and general good nature stayed with me ever since. Lacking strength, speed, and skill, I was a terrible athlete, but he helped me learn from adversity and be a good teammate. We were all better for having known him. - Bob Korp, PCHS '82
