Obituary of Timothy E Swales

Timothy E. Swales, 54, passed away unexpectedly at his home on the morning of October 5, 2021. Tim was born on January 23, 1967 in Somerville, NJ to Kathy "Morrow" Scheier. He grew up in Califon, NJ. He graduated from Voorhees High School and graduated with the Class of 1986. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Kutztown University in 1990. A couple of years later, he married his soulmate Carol "Merrill" Swales on a beautiful September day in 1992. Tim was employed as a Sales Representative for TricorBraun. Tim had also worked in a number of positions for various other perfume and cosmetic companies throughout his life. He spent many years working for Calvin Klein and Cosmetic Essence, Inc. Tim enjoyed collecting novelty cards and coins. He liked watching all types of sports on television, notably football, baseball, and soccer. He was also an avid hunter and enjoyed hunting with his late father-in-law, Karl Merrill. Tim was a soft spoken and caring person who would help anyone. He had a great sense of humor and a contagious smile. Tim will be sadly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his loving wife Carol, Tim is survived by a son, Joseph Swales and his wife Haleigh; his mother, Kathy Scheier; a brother, Steven Scheier and his wife Devon; 2 sisters, Linda Kelly and her husband Troy, and Deborah Gryta. A graveside service celebrating Tim's life will be held on Monday October 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Lower Valley Cemetery in Califon, NJ.
