Obituary of Ralph Merwin Tuttle
Ralph M. Tuttle, 90 of White Township passed away peacefully at home on June 21, 2021. Ralph was born on May 19, 1931 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Merwin and Edna "Detwhiler." Tuttle.
Ralph graduated from Washington High School class of 1950. He joined the US Navy and served proudly in the Korean War from 1951 – 1954. After returning home from the service Ralph became an Oil Burner Technician for Agway Oil in Washington for more than 23 years before retiring in 1992. Ralph was a member of the VFW Post 6701 in Washington, NJ, the American Legion Post 258 Givens-Belet in Blairstown and a charter member of White Township. He was an avid bowler at Oakwood lanes. Ralph enjoyed camping and was a member of the Norris Nomads. He also enjoyed reading. He was a baseball fan and always routed for the NY Mets.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Bernadette Tuttle, his loving daughters, Sandra Tuttle and Michelle Armbrecht; his loving sons, George N. Armbrecht and his AFS son Iain Waka from New Zealand. His caring brother, Raymond Tuttle and his wife Elizabeth and his brother-in-law Raymond Roberts. 5 cherished grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and his cousin Cynthia Sumner Tuttle. He is preceded in death by his sister Jane Roberts.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882 A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 12:00 PM at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 85 Academy Street, Oxford, NJ 07863. Burial will follow the mass at St. Rose Cemetery.
