I’m so sorry to hear about Mr. Kling’s passing. We have gotten so many of our Christmas trees from his farm over the years. We always wanted a fat and I mean fat tree, always too big for our car. Mr. Kling would drive the tree over to our house for us and eventually just let us take his truck to drop off our tree. He was a very kind man. Condolences to the family

Thirty years ago, Herb changed the course of my career by becoming my boss. He was an unselfish manager, a patient mentor, and remained a good friend long afterward. He was an enjoyable travel partner who knew how to blend his professional scientific role with his passion for outdoor living, and in that regard was a role model for many of us who worked under him and along side of him. I'll keep many good memories of Herb, his wonderful family, beautiful home, and the days we shared working and relaxing.

Herb was a great man! I thoroughly enjoyed working with him. His willing to jump in and help out in anyway possible never went unnoticed. During my transition to the monogastic division within Chr. Hansen, he was a great asset to learn the industry and history of our poultry business. He will greatly missed! Sorry I couldn't be present at his funeral
Sincerely,
Rob Martin

We were so heartbroken to learn of Herb’s untimely passing. Choosing a Christmas tree from the Kling Farm was an annual tradition. We remember him explaining to us last Christmas how he carefully shapes and tends to his trees in preparation for the season. He was such an accomplished man yet so humble and soft-spoken. His strong faith sustained him throughout his life and we know that he will now rejoice with the Lord for all eternity.
Our deepest condolences to The Kling Family.

I will always remember Herb as a very respected poultry professional but on top a so great and kind person. I will keep those great souvenirs in my mind travelling around US visiting customers, debating together to find the best solutions for them or to simply meet in NYC for a lunch with my family during summer holiday.
Rest in peace Herb!

I knew Herb for the last 3 years while he consulted for Chr Hansen. I always have in memory his great professionnalism, passion and knowledge about the poultry industry. Beyond this, i was impressed by the sense of humanity he was transferring to the team and his will to transmit to the next generations. Being proud of his family is all but a surprise as Herb was mentioning this many times. We will always remember traveling with him internationally in Europe, Africa or Australia. For many of us, Herb was more than a colleague.
I address my deepest and sincere condolences to his family.
With all our prayers in this tough period of life
Christophe
