Obituary of Lucille M Carman
Lucille Marie Carman “Ronnie”, 91, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2021 at Abington Manor in Williams Township, PA.
Lucille was born on March 19 1929 in Belfast PA. to the late Stanley and Virgie (Rissmiller) Kromer. She resided in Whitehouse N.J. for most of her adult life. Her loving husband George W. Carman passed away in 2007. Lucille was employed for over 40 years as a school bus driver retiring in 2005 from Bridgewater Raritan School District. Lucille and George were very active in the Readington Lions Club and also were members of the Coachmen Club and Travels. She loved her ponies and dogs throughout her life. In 1989 Lucille was honored to be invited to drive her pony Fairview Happy Lady during the inauguration in Washington DC. For George H.W. Bush for being East Coast champion.
Lucille is survived by five of her children and their spouses: Kent Carman (and partner Pamela Chmiel), Guy Carman (and partner Karen Cargile-Ocenas), Charmaine Politano and husband Robert, Carin Guelich and husband Tim and Rebecca Nicoletti and husband Tom and daughter-in-law Debra Carman: Sisters: Regina Parks, Miriam Rounsaville and Kathleen Haney and many nieces and nephews. Additionally survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Lucille is preceded in death by her husband, George W. Carman and their son George W. Carman Jr. also her brothers Stanley and Carl Kromer.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
