I was just thinking about Charlie today when I took my dogs for a walk down stykers first time after so much snow and ice. I saw Charlie almost daily on walks on Stryker's road I walk my rescue dogs daily even in bad weather ... He always had his red Rutger's sweatshirt on and even in really cold winter weather I'd pass him and say you need a parka in this weather and he'd smile like he always did to anyone passing him and said oh I'm fine don't worry about me ... Always smiling . Nicest guy ... I was happy to go look and find him and at least give his family closure. I knew he had a heart condition from a neighbor on that road. He didn't seem like the type to just " go missing" seemed very routine with his daily life and his walks were always the same route so are mine. I didn't find him in his red Rutgers sweatshirt maybe would be a little easier to see him from the road if he had it on . RIP sir . You had a lot more friends than you probably realized here on and off Stryker's road. Condolences to family and friends of Charlie.

Charles known as Charlie was like a big brother to me. We shared many memories while marching in Chessman Drum And Bugle Corps. I enjoyed spending summer days in New Jersey with him and sister Vita. You will remain forever in my heart.

I met Charley while walking my dog on Strykers rd. I am new to the area but while walking I would run into Charley about twice a week. We developed a very nice relationship where we would discuss sports, politics and just about anything in the news. I told my wife that I hadn’t seen Charley in about a week and I was concerned. I saw that he was missing.and I was stunned. After this pandemic we talked about getting together for a sandwich — where Charley and his brother would go for a good cheese steak. Please let me know when you are having his service. My telephone number is 732 567 6468. Charley was a great guy
