Obituary of Rosalie A Wargin
Rosalie A. Wargin, 78, of Washington Township, NJ passed away peacefully on December 25, 2020 at the Lopatcong Care Center with her loving husband holding her hand.
Rosalie was born on August 2, 1942 in Easton, PA to the late Anthony and Helen Noto. She graduated from Phillipsburg Catholic High School class of 1959. She earned her degree in education from Trenton State College. Rosalie married her soulmate William "Bill" Wargin in 1969. She was employed as a school teacher for Washington High School, teaching business and typing. Rosalie was also a secretary for the Special Services Administration for Warren Hills Regional School District until her retirement in 2006. Earlier in her life she was employed by Warren Volkswagen and as a bank teller in Hampton, NJ. Rosalie was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Washington. Bill and Rosalie exemplified what it means to be a volunteer. She was an excellent cook and prepared most of the food for St. Joseph Bingo nights. She served on the Pre Cana ministry and supported all of the church fundraisers, dances and social events. Rosalie enjoyed sewing and knitting, over the years she proudly made many dresses and clothes for her children and grandchildren. Rosalie was also named NJ Telephone Pioneer Partner of the year.
In addition to her loving husband of 52 years Bill, Rosalie is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Godshalk and her husband Kelvin; stepchildren, Scott Wargin, Valarie Corsino and Nancy DeLorenzo and her husband Harry; a brother Thomas Noto and his wife Christine; grandchildren, Becky, Sarah, Katie, Kelli, and Matt Wargin, Dakota Corsino, Scott Ryan Tophony, Shannon Treich and her husband Emmett, Lindsay DeLorenzo, Brandt DeLorenzo and his wife Jen, Lincoln and Kennedy Godshalk; and great grandchildren, Carter Corsino, Cameron Treich, Matthew Hall, Nathaniel DeLorenzo, and Oliver DeLorenzo.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday December 30, 2020 from 4:30-7:30 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday December 31, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. 200 Carlton Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. Rosalie will be laid to rest at St. Joseph cemetery in Washington. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home.
