Mark was a man that many admired and looked up to. He had a great sense of humor and I enjoyed working with him at Warren Hills. He was a terrific announcer at the Orange Crate Derby races which my son participated. Whenever he got the chance he would ask how my son was doing and was genuinely interested in his accomplishments. My deepest sympathies to his family. He was so kind to so many and will be greatly missed.

I worked many shifts with Mark as my partner in our patrol cars and had many a conversation and experiences together as Patrolmen doing our jobs on the various shifts. Mark had a great sense of humor and was a smart guy always on top of what was going on. It was my pleasure to work with someone I knew I could depend on no matter the situation. You left us way too soon Mark and I and my wife have not forgotten that it was you that married us in Washington Borough when you were Mayor. God Bless you Mark and Rest in Peace Brother.

I know Mark from working with him on the Hopatcong Police Department. Mark and I decided to go to the Hostage Release parade in NYC with my 6 year old daughter Rachel. When we got there the crowd was overwhelming. All my daughter could see was the backside of the crowd. Mark being so tall, picked Rachel up and sat her on his shoulders the entire time we were there having the best view ever. Mark Bond was a good friend, very smart, wise and funny. He will be missed by all. Condolences to Denise and her children and family. Watch over us all Mr. Bond.

I am proud to be able to share your bereavement over Mark, especially under the circumstances which he did share with me. I knew him through Ham Radio, and when he joined DLARC, I looked forward to sharing stories with him on Wednesday nights at the Milk House. I really knew nothing about his life other than that he was involved with Law Enforcement, but after reading his accomplishments I understand why he seemed so wise and helpful. I will miss him. Once again, my condolences to all that they are appropriate for.

Dear Denise, Jane and all of your families, my sincere condolences for your loss. My sisters and I were so very lucky to have grown up "across the street" from the Bond Family. Mr. & Mrs. Bond, Mark and Jane (and Pepie). So many fond memories, I wish you peace in the knowledge that Mark was truly loved by so very many.

So deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Mark. I have so many childhood memories of Mark and our neighborhood. Playing dodge ball at MacWayne, kickball every night, motorcycles, parties and just great friends! To meet back up as adults and both moving to Washington was true joy. Meeting Denise at College, and reminiscing of the old days was awesome. I’m gonna miss seeing you, and talking old times! My sincere Condolences Denise and to your family . Barb (Beck) White

Dear Mrs. Bond, and family, I'm so sorry to hear of Marks passing. I know Mark was a great Husband, and Father. I haven't seen Mark in over twenty years, but I'd like you to know, Mark and I were roommates, and boxing partners in Sea Girt. I'll never forget Mark's sense of humor, and commitment to graduate which helped motivate both of us.

My sympathies to all of Mark’s family on his passing. I worked with him at WHRHS during my tenure as Assistant Principal there. Mark was a very special guy - I will always remember how proud he was of his family and how much he truly cared for the high school students. Mark positively affected the lives of so many students and they loved him. May he Rest In Peace.
