Loretta "Barbara" Lance, 75, of Belvidere, NJ and previously of Harmony, NJ passed away on October 2, 2020 at the Lopatcong Care Center.
Barbara was born on May 24, 1945 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. She was a graduate of South Hunterdon High School. After graduating, she worked as a nurse in Billings, Montana until returning to New Jersey and working as a secretary for her father's company, H.L. Birum Corporation. She enjoyed cooking for her family, collecting knick knacks and had a passion for animals.
She is survived by her children; Noah Callantine, Bonnie Callantine, Holly Beers, Tammy Eitner, George Lance, and Corey Lance. Barbara is also survived by her stepchildren; Linda Collins, Edward Lance, Karen Hulick, and Robert and Richard Lance. She also leaves behind 22 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren.
Barbara is predeceased in death by her loving husband of 33 years, George Lance, who passed away in 2009. She is also predeceased by her parents Herbert and Woody Birum.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, October 10, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Richard Harrison officiating. Burial will follow at Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hampton, NJ.
