Obituary of Joseph Nicolas Bayliss

Joseph "Nick" Bayliss, 86, a lifelong resident of Oxford, NJ passed away peacefully at his home on September 23, 2020. Nick was born at home in Oxford on March 1, 1934 to the late Leland and Dorothy "Price" Bayliss. Nick graduated from Washington High School class of 1952. He served proudly in the US Navy for 6 years. Nick was employed as a truck driver for more than 55 years. His last employer was County Concrete until his retirement in 2007. It was a common sight to see Nick driving his cement mixer truck around town. He enjoyed working in his yard, tending his garden and just being outdoors. He loved beagles and watching reruns of the TV show M.A.S.H. He was a Philadelphia Eagles Fan and his favorite NASCAR driver was Martin Truex. Nick was also a member of the American Legion. His loving wife Eileen "Shenrock" Bayliss passed away in 2018. Nick is survived by a son, John Bayliss and his wife Ann; a daughter, Lori Rimarenko and her husband Dr. Seraphim Rimarenko; 3 grandchildren, Nicholas Bayliss, Lauren Bayliss and James Bayliss. Family and friend may pay their respects on Saturday September 26, 2020 from 10:00 AM -12:00 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington, NJ 07882. Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 12:30 PM at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Oxford.
