Obituary of Clarence Luckey
Clarence T. Luckey, 80, of Franklin Township, NJ passed away suddenly on April 20, 2020 at Hackettstown Hospital.
Clarence was born at home in Belvidere, NJ on November 20, 1939 to the late Phoan and Anna Luckey.
Clarence grew up in Belvidere and Great Meadows, NJ on a farm until he moved to Franklin Township in 1960. He owned and operated Luckey's Auto Body in Broadway from 1973 until his retirement in 2016. Clarence was a Pit Master and enjoyed barbequing and pig roasting for various fund raising groups. He loved working with his son Tom and his 2 stepsons Brian and Richard each year building Demolition Derby Cars for the Warren County Fair. He was an avid outdoorsmen who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had a love of farming and the Ocean and spent many days deep sea fishing on his boat. His loving wife Cindy "Heckmen" Luckey passed away in 2016.
Clarence is survived by his Son Thomas Luckey and his wife Wendy; a stepson Brian Smith Sr; A brother William Charles Jr and a sister Donna Embleton; Granddaughter Kelsey Hood and her husband Matt: 2 great grandsons Jacob and Eli; Granddaughter Brianna Kucharik and her husband Josh; 3 step grandchildren Brian Jr and Richard Jr and Maikela Smith: and his first wife Irene Luckey.
In addition to his wife Cindy he was preceded in death by a sister Ella Mae Read and a stepson Richard Smith Sr.
