Obituary of William T Pallo

William Thomas (Bill) Pallo, Sr., 90, of Washington, NJ passed away on April 7, 2020 in Dover NJ. Due to the COVID-19 restriction of gatherings, the visitation will be immediate family only. Burial and a memorial gathering will be scheduled at a later date. Bill was born in Chicago, IL to Andrew and Anna Pallo on September 15th, 1929. He graduated high school from Foster Township in Freeland, PA. Bill proudly served as a Corporal Radio Operator Mechanic in the United States Air Force from 1946 to 1949 and was stationed at Barksdale AFB in Louisiana. He worked as an electrician for M&M Mars in Hackettstown, NJ for 30 years where his love for chocolate and all things sweet was nourished. He retired in 1992. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, sister Anna Warfol and brothers Andrew and John. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Mary and their children - son William T. Pallo, Jr. and his wife Vicki (Williams) of Nazareth, PA; and three daughters - Diana Scanlan and her husband James of Flemington, NJ; Mary Ellen Hicks and her husband Bill of Richlands, NC; Elaine Coccaro and her husband Anthony of Hackettstown, NJ; brother George of Vero Beach, FL and sister Joan Rudwick of Washington NJ; and 11 grandchildren – William III., Stephanie, Michael, Christopher, James Jr., Dimitra, Angela, John, Anthony Jr., Nicholas, Vincent and seven great-grandchildren with two on the way. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bill’s name may be made to St Joseph's Catholic Church, 200 Carlton Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home.
