Obituary of Dorothy E Parker

Dorothy E. Parker, 89, of the Asbury section of Bethlehem Township, NJ passed away peacefully on March 21 at home on hospice care with her husband by her side. Dorothy was born on February 2, 1931 in Millstone, NJ to the late Edward and Elizabeth Beyer. She grew up in Hillsborough, NJ and graduated from Somerville High School class of 1949. She was employed as a Real Estate Broker for Burgdorf Realty and later Max Spann Realty in Annandale, NJ. Dorothy and her devoted husband Warren moved from Edison, NJ to Bethlehem Township in 1979 after purchasing a plot of land. Together they designed and built their dream home and raised their family. Dorothy was a collector of fine china and antiques. She was a member of R.S. Prussia Club. Dorothy was talented seamstress in designing and produced many Victorian period dresses. She also was a great cook and enjoyed gardening. Dorothy was a socialite who loved her family and enjoyed being around people. Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 72 years Warren A. Parker; Daughters, Linda Sundram and her husband Larry, Susan Walker and her husband Rex and Barbara Hervey and her husband Mike; A son, Jack Parker and his wife Diana; she was blessed with 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
