Obituary of Margaret A Kondler
Margaret A. Kondler, 86, a lifelong resident of the Oxford area passed away peacefully on March 3, 2020 at her home with her loving family by her side.
Margaret was born in Oxford, NJ on October 23, 1933 to the late Stanley and Anna Kovalsky.
Margaret graduated from Washington High School class of 1952. As a young teenager she loved spending time on the farm and worked at her Uncle Johnny's roadside stand "Hot Dog Johnny's". She married her soulmate Eugene Kondler in 1954. Margaret was employed by M&M Mars in Hackettstown, NJ in the packing department and research and development, she worked with some of the biggest companies in the United States developing and promoting unique candies for special events. She was a parishioner at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Oxford, where she volunteered much of her time. She enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo and cooking. Margaret also enjoyed Polka dancing and music. She was a FANatic of the Philadelphia Eagles. Her prized possession is a team signed game ball and helmet. Margaret was also a fan of WWE wrestling. Margaret cherished spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years Eugene Kondler; Daughters, Sharon Timar and her husband Jack, Terry Jacobs and her husband Raymond, Maureen Young and her husband Kevin. 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her brother's Stanley, Jr and Walter Kovalsky.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday March 8, 2020 from 3-6 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday March 9, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. 85 Academy St. Oxford, NJ 07863 with Fr. Charles Sabella officiating. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Margaret's name to at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.
