Obituary of Judy Schellenburg

Judith B Schellenburg, 72, of Hackettstown, NJ passed away suddenly on December 4, 2019 at her home. Judy was born on January 11, 1947 in Elizabeth, NJ to the late William and Mildred Schellenburg. Judy was a graduate of Washington High School class of 1966. She was employed as a telephone operator for United Telephone in Clinton, NJ. She also was employed at Hunterdon State School prior to her retirement in 2008. She was of the catholic faith and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Mountain Church in Long Valley, NJ where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and a Eucharistic Minister. Judy was also a past member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 164 in Hackettstown. She is survived by her cousin Sean Bermingham and his wife Mihyong. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday December 9, 2019 from 9-10:30 A.M. at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882 A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 9, 2019 at 11:00 A.M at Our Lady of the Mountain Catholic Church, 2 East Springtown Road, Long Valley, NJ 07853. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Parish Cemetery, 10 Jackson Valley Road, Washington, NJ 07882 In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Judy's name to Our Lady of the Mountain Catholic Church, 2 East Springtown Road, Long Valley, NJ 07853. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home.
