Obituary of Richard A Woolf

Richard A. Woolf Sr., 88, a lifelong farmer from Franklin Township passed away peacefully on July 17, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Richard was born on June 13, 1935 at the family home in Pohatcong Township to the late Clayton and Florence "Apgar" Woolf. He moved to the current location of Woolf Farms in 1943. Richard and his family own and operate Woolf Farms Produce known for its famous sweet corn and fresh produce. He married the love of his life Jane "Burham" in 1956. Richard was a past member of the Franklin Township School Board and a Past Township Committeeman. He enjoyed farming hunting and mowing his lawn. He adored his family especially his grandchildren. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Louisa "Jane" Woolf; his children, Joann Donaldson, JanMarie Woolf and Judy Sailer and her husband Ray; brothers, Russel Woolf and Roger Woolf. 6 grandchildren, Jessica, Justin, Alisha, Benjamin, Courtney, Destiney and 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Richard was preceded in death by a son Richard A. Woolf Jr and a brother Robert Woolf. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday July 22, 2023 from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A funeral service celebrating Richard's life will begin at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Stewartsville Cemetery.
