Obituary of Marvin C Cole Jr

Marvin C. Cole Jr., 80, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2023 at St. Luke's Warren Hospital. Marvin was born on August 29, 1942 at this family's home in Franklin Township, NJ to the late Marvin C. and Pretoria "Mettler" Cole Sr. He attended Washington High School. He married his loving wife Mary Jane "Christian" in 1969. Marvin worked on his family's farm when he was young. He was later employed as a Maintenance Mechanic for the State of NJ DOT for more than 35 years before his retirement in 2004. He was a past member of the New Village Volunteer Fire Department. Marvin enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons. In addition to his wife of 54 years Mary Jane, Marvin is survived by a son, Marvin C. Cole III; He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Cole, a brother, Robert A. Cole and a sister, Diana Stone.
