It is difficult to say all the things that come to mind about Harry. He was a very funny decent man who loved his family and worked hard as a partner with his wife Noreen to provide for them. He was loyal and kind to the people in his life. I always remember him talking about his system for winning at the casino. He lost all his money in twenty minutes. Harry is a great loss in the fabric of life and will be missed.

There will never be another that appreciates my Seinfeld references or likes my cooking like you did. Loved talking football (an avid “ABC” Fan..anything but Cowboys), UFC, and Politics with you. Late night eel fishing and setting up at Englishtown. I had a dad that people mistook for Hulk Hogan (how cool is that!). I feel so lucky to have had you as my Dad and you were the greatest Dad I could have asked for. I loved the bond you had with Wesley and seeing the timeless love you had for Mom. I love and miss you so much Dad and thank you for giving me so many great memories and SO MANY LAUGHS. Thanks for teaching me to root for the underdog. You were one of a kind and just an all around great guy to be around. Thank you for being you. I love and miss u so much. -Your daughter, Jacqueline

My deepest sympathy to the family of Harry and all who knew him. I knew Harry for many years especially in high school He always had a smile and made me laugh .I stopped sometimes on Route 31 when he had his yard sales. I know he must have left some wonderful memories to his family. God bless and rest in peace my friend.

Grateful for my youth, Soliloquy to Uncle Harry:
Summers with Uncle Harry, Aunt Noreen, John and Frances Popinko. Cola, their German Shepard sprayed by a skunk, SS hot rods, swimming with snapping turtles, watching the skin slide off the deer, Aunt Noreen balancing all with Lipton ice tea. I used to think my uncle was Hulk Hogan but now I realize he was a man, brother, son, uncle, husband, father and grandfather. Only human RIP.

WOW! I sure remember when. Harry and me were hang out pals for years in HS. Harry was a great guy and a loyal friend. It has all been a flash from then to now. after HS I went into the US Navy and lost touch with many of the old gang, the war sure screwed up our old times, changed lives forever. I have so many great, warm memories of Harry. we sure were crazy, young and happy in those school years. Class of 1966, dungeon boys and Harvey raiders, shared lunches.
I saw Harry a couple of years ago and we laughed at each other, the old farts we had become, who'd a thought we would have got this!. it was good to see my ole friend and talked about our adventures and many mi-adventures. good laughs. RIP old friend, may the mercy and the peace of the Lord be upon your soul and your loved ones. you were one of the best old pal.
