Obituary of Carl E Herman

Carl E. Herman, 77, of Annandale, NJ passed away peacefully on July 11, 2019 at The Chelsea Assisted Living in Belvidere, NJ Carl was born on March 13, 1942 in Sunbury, PA to the late Ruth Byers. He was a graduate of Sunbury High School, Class of 1960. Carl married the love of his life Siepie in 1964, recently celebrating 55 years of marriage. They moved to Annandale, NJ 28 years ago. Carl was employed as a Technician for American Can Co prior to his retirement in 2002. He was an avid golfer, however loved all sports. His favorite team was the Brooklyn Dodgers. He was also a fan of the Oakland Raiders and Penn State football. Carl enjoyed bowling and was proud to join the elite 300 club. He was excellent at trivia and loved to watch Jeopardy. Above all, Carl loved his family and cherished every moment spent with them. He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Siepie Herman, his loving daughters, Karen Feuerherm and her husband Bob, Michelle Heide and her husband Dean and Barb Wester and her husband Jason. 4 Cherished grandchildren, Isabelle, Jack, Kylie and Mason. A sister, Linda Young and her husband Todd and a large extended family. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Betty and Charles Bunting, brother-in-law Ralph Anema, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Evelyn and John Anema and nephew Michael Anema. Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, July 14, 2019 from 5-8 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 15, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
