Hi Deb. I just learned of your Dad’s passing and am so sorry for your loss. Your Father was the definition of a “good man.” I have peace knowing he is in Heaven with Edie, “the love of his life”.
The Warren County Farmer’s Fair flower exhibit, and for that matter the near Washington stretch of Rt. 57 in Port Murray, will never be the same without your Father’s spectacular Dahlia display!
Please know you and yours will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Debbi & family. I am so sorry to hear that your Dad passed. What a great loss to you & your family as well as everyone who knew him. I had many conversations with Bill during ARC activities & his favorite topic was his family. He glowed with huge pride when he spoke of each of them. Bill has been reunited with Edie - his forever love. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to meet Bill (& Edie) & hear so many of his stories. They will always be a happy fun loving part of my ARC social memories as well as good friends to my family. RIP Bill.

Bill Hodge was a dependable and dedicated bus driver for The Arc of Warren recreational events over the course of 20 some years. He also volunteered to keep the recreation vehicles clean and running, in addition to his faithful service at the weekly Social Club programs. We could always count on Bill to help us out in a pinch. Bill’s presence will be sorely missed by Arc staff and consumers.

It was a distinct privilege getting to know Bill Hodge through The Arc, Warren County Chapter. He brought a Marine's sense to duty to his transportation role - taking excellent care of our buses and the people entrusted to him for access to our recreational activities. Love and respect always guided his interactions with children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
He and Edie made a wonderful team and Debbie carried on this tradition after Edie passed on - making certain our people arrived safe, sound and happy. Bill was also known to add an ice cream stop to his route.
After he retired from his driving role, Bill became The Arc's "Cake Boss", treating our dedicated office staff every Monday with delicious baked items.
Bill was definitely "old school" in approach to every responsibility he took on. As a fellow Phillipsburg native I was deeply proud of our local hero. He brought great joy to all who got to know this fine gentleman. William Hodge epitomized all the values that have made our agency a dependable and compassionate vehicle of help and hope - to all our consumers and their families. Blessed repose - eternal memory Bill.

Bud was an exceptional Brother and Brother in law. We will miss his visits and going out to eat. Our hearts are sad but we know he knew the Lord and to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord. Thanking God for the treasure in our memory of all the fun times together. He was a hard worker and a true family man. He was a blessing to so many that knew him. Our prayers go out to his loving daughter, Debbi and Bill, Buds grand children and great grand children.
Sincerely, Kenny, Nancy and family.
