Obituary of Catherine L Wurst

Catherine L. Wurst, 83, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2016 at Rolling Hills Care Center in Lebanon, NJ Catherine was born on July 7, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY to the late John and Maria Carboni. Previously of Monroe and Old Bridge, NJ, Cathy was married to the love of her life Roland for 55 years until his passing in 2008. She was of the Catholic faith and a former parishioner of St. Ambrose Church for over 40 years. She loved board games, particularly Scrabble and Mahjong. Catherine enjoyed cooking and was most famous for her sausage & peppers. She cherished her family and treasured every moment spent with them. She is survived by her loving children, 2 daughters, Lisa Knemoller and her husband Randy, Joan Hughes and her husband Kevin, 4 sons, Jeff Wurst and his wife Jennifer, Paul Wurst and his wife Brenda, Eric Wurst, Karl Wurst and his wife Ginny. 14 cherished grandchildren, Doug, John, Karla, Laura, Sean, Kristyn, Sean, Kelly, Joshua, Jade, Julianna, Roland, Maya and Daniel and 5 Great-grandchildren. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday, February, 5, 2016 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. And again on Saturday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Funeral service will immediately follow visitation on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home.
