Obituary of Harriet A. Wollman

Harriet Adele Wollman, 87 of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully on April 6, 2014 at Hackettstown Hospital.
Born: on September 15, 1926 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Delvon and Marie Woodruff.
Personal: Harriet was a lifelong resident of Washington, NJ she graduated from Washington high school class of 1944. She attended Indiana University in Indiana, PA, She married her late husband Richard Wollman in 1957. Harriet worked as a quality control inspector for American Can Company in Washington, retiring after 35 years of service. She was a member of the Faith Evangelical Lutheran church in Whitehall, PA. She was a past member of the Washington Emergency Squad Ladies Auxiliary. Harriet enjoyed collecting elephant collectables. she also enjoyed playing solitaire and traveling. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Survivors: three daughters Brandau "Brandy" Snyder and her husband Tim. Lynn "Appel" Hill. Heather Wollman-Snover and her husband Ken of Hixson, TN; a son Gordon Appel and his fiance Gail McGuire of Santa Fe, NM; seven grandchildren Gretchen, Kimberlee, Krista, Tim, Matt, Evan, Rory and Josh; Three great grandchildren Elizabeth, Daniel and Kayla. Harriet was predeceased in death by her loving husband Richard, a sister Carolyn Hillpot and a grandson Kaleb.
Services: Friends and family may call on Friday April 11, 2014 from 12:00 - 1:30 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be celebrated immediately following at 1:30 PM with Pastor Michael J. Bodnyk officiating. Burial will be at Washington Cemetery.
Memorial: Donations may be made in Harriet's name to the Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia, 34th & Civic Center Boulevards, Philadelphia, PA 19104. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home.
