Obituary of Stephen P. Tomasovich

Stephen P. Tomasovich, 95, of Lopatcong Township, NJ, died Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at home with his family by his side. Born: On August 7, 1912 in Throop, Pa, he was a son of the late John and Julia Tomasovich. Personal: He and his wife, Anna, were married for 65 years. Stephen lived in Lake Hopatcong, Hillside and Newark, NJ, before moving to Lopatcong Township three years ago. He was employed as a maintenance worker for Pyrene Inc., Newark, NJ, He retired from Sterling Plastics in Mountainside in 1983. Steve loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed gardening and had a talent to make anything grow. Memberships: He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Alpha, NJ. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Anna, he is survived by two daughters, Patricia Kosiak of Lopatcong and Joan McNaboe and her husband John of Sparta, NJ; four grandchildren, Joann, John and his wife Julie, Jason and his wife Tara, Jeff and his wife Stefanie, and four great-grandchildren, Stephen, Johnny, Patrick and Andrew. A sister, Margaret and four brothers, Joe, John, George and Andrew, all died earlier. Services: Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Jay Toborowsky officiating at the church, 830 5th Avenue, Alpha, NJ. Cremation will be private.
