Palma Ann Porpora "Pam", passed away on May 16, 2010 . Born: She was born on April 13, 19 19 in East Haven CT, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Flavia Porpora. Personal: She was a long time resident of Rock Hill, NY. For the past eight years she resided in NJ with her daughter. At the time of her death she was surrounded by her loved ones. She had four sisters who are all deceased. For over fifty years Pam resided in Rock Hill, NY with her former husband Frank Porpora. Together they were owners of the Dodge Inn Steak House in Rock Hill, NY. If you needed anything just dial "P" for Pam. She had a wonderful sense of humor and kept a positive attitude no matter what. She could light up a room with her smile. She will be missed by everyone whose heart she touched. Memberships: Pam was a lifelong member of Rock Hill Fire and Ambulance Department. She was a charter member of St. Peter's RC Church Knights of Columbus ladies auxiliary, and involved in numerous community services. Survivors: She is survived by her three children, Rosanne Wise of NJ, Anthony Porpora of Rock Hill and Frankie Porpora of FL; grandchildren, Julia Ann and Jeff Horner, Anthony and Jennifer Cacciarelli, Marissa and Robert Figurito and Michael Porpora; great-grandchildren, Alexa Marie, Jake Cacciarelli; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services: Family and friends may call on Wednesday May 19, 2010 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. Services will continue from Vanlnwegen-Kenny Funeral Home. 401 Broadway, Monticello, NY. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven CT. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pam's name to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice. 99 Sparta Drive, Newton, NJ 07860.
