Obituary of Edith H. Noel

Edith H. Noel, 76, of Forks Township, PA Edith passed away peacefully at home November 9, 2012. Born: September 3, 1936 in Middle Valley, NJ to the late George and Martha Hopping. Personal: Previous residence, Asbury and Washington, NJ. Occupation, Edith was a homemaker. Edith graduated from Washington High School class of 1954. Edith was of the Presbyterian faith and attended the First Presbyterian Church of Washington. Edith had many interests; she was a Doll collector owning more than 400 dolls. She also collected Carousels and any Christmas item she could find with "Noel" on it. She enjoyed bird watching and sewing. Edith loved children and treasured every moment with her family. She will be sadly missed by all. Memberships: She was a member of the 4-H sewing and put love into every stitch she made. Survivors: She is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, John Noel Sr. of Forks Twp., PA; three loving sons, John Noel Jr. and his wife, Nancy of Asbury, NJ, Joseph Noel and his wife, Eileen of Broadway, NJ, Michael Noel and his wife, Iona of upstate NY; a loving daughter, Martha Vaughn of Nazareth, PA; An identical twin sister, Sarah Wolf and her husband, Bob of Fla.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Predeceased, sister, Martha Hopping-Holt. Services: Visitation Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Jim Scovell officiating at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882.
