John & I send our love and support to Andy, Alena, and all of Steve's family. Upon hearing the sad news of Steve's passing, many of our mutual "Ice friends" have shared condolences and memories of Steve in some of our online Antarctic groups. Some of the stories and memories have brought tears to my eyes, while others have brought the laughter of a fun memory involving "Bear," as Steve was lovingly referred to during his years in Antarctica. Rest easy my friend... Your memory lives on.
