Obituary of Maude E. Schultz

Maude E. Schultz, 88, of Washington, NJ, passed away peacefully at her home on March 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Maude was born on September 26, 1936, in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Edwin and Maude Sauter (nee Thomas). She was a proud graduate of Jefferson High School, Class of 1954. Throughout her life, Maude had a passion for reading, crocheting, music, singing, and traveling. Her warmth, kindness, and dedication to her family were at the center of her life. She cherished the time spent with her loved ones, creating lasting memories that will be treasured forever. Maude is survived by her loving children, Victoria Schultz, Marcia Schultz, Nona Schultz, Richard Schultz (Rachel), and Donald Schultz (Tomomi). She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Maude was predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard, in 2008, her parents, mother, Maude T. Dietz, her stepfather, Herbert Dietz, and her brother, Walter Dietz. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Sunday, March 30, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. A service celebrating Maude's life will take place at 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Maude will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
