Obituary of Emma Wiseburn

Emma C. Wiseburn (nee. Ruth), beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully at her home at the age of 90 on February 14, 2025. She lived a life filled with kindness, warmth and compassion, touching the hearts of all who knew her. Born on December 26, 1934, Emma was a woman of grace and strength, known for her unwavering dedication to her family. Throughout her life, she demonstrated a deep love for her children and grandchildren, always putting their well-being above her own. She was a pillar of support for her loved ones, offering wisdom, comfort and a listening ear whenever needed. Emma is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, John Sr., and her children, John Wiseburn Jr., Cindy Jacobs (Wiseburn), and Donna Waegener (Wiseburn), her son in law, Ralf Waegener, her granddaughter, Emily Howard and great grandchildren; Ryker Townsley and Selina Townsley. Emma's legacy of love and devotion will continue to shine through her family and all those whose lives she touched. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice at www.karenannquinlanhospice.org in Emma's honor. Emma's quiet strength and ability to find joy in simple pleasures, a good book, a warm cup of tea and the company of her loved ones. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
