John,
We are very sorry to hear about the passing of Sharon. She was very kind, considerate and loving to everyone. We always enjoyed talking to her. We will miss her. She had a strong faith in God in the face of all the physical suffering she endured during her lifetime. Also, we always admired her fantastic memory. She was like an encyclopedia of her entire family, remembering all the names and facts about them. We pray that God will bless her and accept her into His kingdom. We also pray that God will bless you, John, now and in the future. May Sharon rest in peace in the glory of God.
With our deepest sympathy,
Charlie and Sally Metroke & family

John, I am so sorry about the loss of your sister. I didn’t know Sharon well but had some lovely conversations with her at Shippen Manor. She did love sharing the manor with visitors.

Sharon and I were next door neighbors on Mine Hill. We were friends growing up and walked to and from school together when we attended Oxford Central School and then walked to the bus stop at the bottom of the hill at the Catholic Church when we went to high school. One of my fondest memories of Sharon was when her brother John took us to the Allentown Fair to see the Osmond Brothers concert. We had the best time! Rest in peace Sharon.
John, so sorry for your loss.
