He served his country as a soldier in the United States Army. Stationed at Fort Dix, NJ, He specialized in radio communications and marksmanship.

Dominick was an active member and Deacon at the Lower Valley Presbyterian Church in Califon, NJ.

His involvement with his local community was evidenced by the fact that he served on the Lebanon Township Board of Education while also coaching Little League at the North Hunterdon Little League, in High Bridge, NJ.

Dominick worked his way up to vice president of Waldron’s Dairy in Califon, NJ, where he established and maintained the company accounts.

Dominick's lifelong dream to own and prosper a general store was realized in 1973, when he purchased Sentz’ General Store in Lebanon New Jersey. The store was known as (Minit Market), and became a very successful community-friendly business.

Although Dominick was not known as a contractor, he single handedly built the family’s second home, with occasional assistance from family and friends.

In his later years he became sole proprietor of a logging and firewood business, which he fervently worked at into his mid 80s.

Dominick Enjoyed the activities of fishing, hunting, bowling, competitive softball, horse racing and Casinos. He especially enjoyed games of table tennis and pool with his family. He truly enjoyed the company of others in all of his hobbies and ventures.

Known to his brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, and friends by several different names such as, Dom, Dominick, June, Uncle Junior; and even more affectionately by those closest to him as Bub, Dad, and Pop.

Considered by many acquaintances, friends and neighbors as a “great man”, Family will always remember him for his kindness, playful nature, leadership, generosity, reliability and his indomitable spirit.

On behalf of those of us who knew him either as husband, father, grandfather, uncle, coworker, neighbor, or friend; we want to express our gratitude for the way you touched our lives, and made a lasting difference in our lives; helping us in our time of need; loved and cared for us; and  exemplifying a life well lived.
