Obituary of William K. Bonnah

William K. Bonnah, 82, of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully on March 26, 2024 at St. Luke's Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg, NJ with his loving family by his side. William was born on August 16, 1941 in Ghana to the late William and Akua Afrakuma Bonnah. He married the love of his life Josephine (nee; Amissah) in 1978. He previously resided in Port Murray, NJ prior to moving to his current home in 1997. William was an avid reader and enjoyed playing soccer. He was a parishioner of St. Theodore's Roman Catholic Church. Above all he loved his family and treasured every moment spent with them. He will be greatly missed. William is survived by his devoted wife Josephine Bonnah; his loving children; Raymond, Reginald, Angela, Dorcas, Vivian and Sister Faustina Gloria from Morristown Carmelite. He also leaves behind 2 grandchildren Naomi and Noah. William also leaves behind his siblings: Kwadwo Yemoah, Comfort, Frank, Florence, Joseph, Juliana, Charles, Dora, Theresah, Charlotte, Emelia, Ivy, Esther, and Pastor Seth Bonnah along with the entire Afari Family. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. A Mass of Christian burial celebrating William's life will be held at 11:00 AM at St. Theodore's Roman Catholic Church, 855 Route 57, Port Murray, NJ 07865. Burial will immediately follow the mass at St. Ann's Cemetery, 32 Main Street, Hampton, NJ 08827. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882.
