Obituary of Ralph V Seifert
Ralph Vincent Seifert, 96, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2023 at his home in Asbury, NJ.
Ralph was born on November 1, 1926 in Washington, NJ to the late Erwin and Gertrude Seifert. He graduated from Washington High School class of 1944. He also attended Yale Photography School. Ralph joined the US Navy and served proudly during WWII aboard the USS Chemung AO-30. After the war Ralph married his soulmate of 70 years Bernice Alpaugh. He was employed as a Director of Research for Industrial Engraving in Easton, PA for more than 41 years until his retirement in 1991. Ralph was an avid bowler, golfer, gardener and he loved to cook. He was a member of PCMI and the Lehigh Valley Craftsmen's Club. Ralph was a longtime supporter of the Warren Hills wrestling and football programs.
In addition to his loving wife Bernice, Ralph is survived by his children, Mark Seifert, Debora Smith and her husband Gerald. 2 grandchildren, Melissa Mauricio and Alan Smith; 2 great grandchildren, Elijah and Emily Mauricio. Ralph was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Murawski and a grandson Jason Smith.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Saturday April 22, 2023 at 11:30 AM at the Asbury Methodist Cemetery. 455 Old Main St. Asbury, NJ 08802. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Asbury Methodist Church or the Asbury Fire Department. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Warren Hills Memorial Home.
