Obituary of Ladislav Sopiak

Ladislav Sopiak, 87, of Rakovec, Slovakia passed away peacefully on December 2, 2022 at his daughter's home in Oxford, NJ with loved ones by his side. Ladislav was born on January 23, 1935 in Rakovec, Slovakia to the late Vasil Sopiak and Mária Naščakova. He was a graduate of technical college Nove mesto Nad Vahom .After 36 years of educating he retired in 1996. Ladislav also served a term as the Mayor of Rakovec. He enjoyed skiing and gardening in his spare time. Ladislav is survived by his loving children; Olga and her husband Robert and Ladislav and his wife Jana. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren; Patricia and her husband Nick , Patrik and His children Bentley and Rilynn.Ladislav, and Jan and siblings; Maria, Anna, Irena, and Imrich . In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his cherished wife, Olga who passed in March of 2022. It is the family's wishes that all services remain private at this time.
