Obituary of Martin Harry Miller
Martin Harry Miller, 82, of Key Largo, Florida (formerly of Washington, NJ) passed away peacefully on September 18, 2022 in New Berlin, NY
Martin was born on September 21, 1939 in Easton, Pennsylvania to the late John William Miller and Eileen Blanche Andrews.
Martin was a graduate of Washington High School class of 1957. He proudly served his Country in the United State Navy. Martin married the love of his life Arlene Beatty in 1958. He was employed as a Glazier and owner of Jack's Glass Shop in Washington, NJ until his retirement in 1990. Martin was a member of the American Legion Post 103 where he served as past Commander. He also served as County Commander of the Warren County American Legion. He was a past Forty & eight member, a member of the Washington Boro Fire Dept and Rescue Squad. Martin coached football for the Washington Boro Redskins. He enjoyed motorcycling, fishing, hunting and was a huge NASCAR fan. His favorite driver being Dale Earnhardt Sr. Above all he loved his family and friends.
He is survived by his devoted wife Arlene Miller, 2 sons; John Samuel Miller and his wife Wendy and James Bryan Miller. Grandchildren; John and his wife Sarah, Melissa and her husband Michael, Heidi, Jamie and Nicole Miller. Great-grandchildren; Jocelyn, Autumn, Kylee, Delilia Miller and Savannah, Summer and Brody Kast. He also leaves behind his sister J. Sue Henry and her husband Ronald and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 11 AM – 12 AM at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 12:00 in the funeral home. Burial to take place at St. James Cemetery in Phillipsburg, NJ
