Obituary of Loraine White

Loraine Emita White, 68, of Fort Myers, Florida left her earthly home to receive her angel wings on September 4, 2022. She was born on May 30, 1954, in Panama City, Panama, C.A., and she immigrated to the US on May 3, 1969. She was the daughter of the late Oswald and Amy Brown of Queens, NY. Loraine gained her US citizenship in 1981. Loraine had a thirst for knowledge and education. She received her high school diploma from Bushwick High School in Brooklyn, NY. She received an Associate degree from Bronx Community College before receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Medical Laboratory Science from Hunter College in NY on September 1, 1981. She received a certificate in IT Help Desk from Chubbs Institute in North Brunswick and a certificate in Culinary Arts from Middlesex County Vocational School. Loraine loved helping others and she did not hesitate to tell others about the greatness of her God. She attended Mt Pisgah AME Church in Washington, NJ. On September 15, 2008, Loraine became a certified Chaplain and a member of the International Chaplains of America. An international volunteer group of Chaplains dedicated to assisting those in need. On July 31, 1982, Loraine E. Bryan married her husband Alex White Jr., and they had 2 children: little Alex and Wesley. Loraine entered this marriage with 3 children from a previous marriage: Albert, Michael, and Desiree. Loraine is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 40 years, Alex White Jr. of Fort Myers, Florida and their 4 children: sons, Albert Bryan and his wife Mara of Easton, PA, Michael Bryan and his wife Tanya of Easton, PA, Alex White 3rd of Washington, NJ and daughter Desiree Jenkins and husband Pierre of Somerville NJ. Loraine has one other son, Wesley Aaron White, now deceased. Loraine, and her youngest son, Wesley, left this earthly home together to be with the Lord. Loraine is survived by 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She also had 1 other granddaughter. After less than two days here in our presence, Zoey Loraine White, left to be with the Lord on September 5, 2022. Loraine leaves behind a myriad of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances that loved her and will miss her dearly. Loraine is survived by five siblings: Joan Brown-Perry of University City, TX, Donna Brown of Queens, NY, Grace Florez and husband Hugo of Fort Myers, FL, Beresford Brown and wife Carolyn of Tampa, FL, and Griselda Stahlman of Fort Myers, FL. Loraine's laughter and bright smile were contagious. She possessed an eagerness to help, encourage and give guidance to others. Her love, caring, concern and generosity for others were genuine and she touched so many lives. She will leave a huge void in the lives of so many friends and relatives. Her love and devotion for God was undeniable and unbreakable. God sent this sweet gift from heaven to walk among us for too short a time. He has called her back home and she will leave so many broken hearts here on earth. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 10:00- 11:00 AM at Faith Discovery Church, 33 Brass Castle Road, Washington, NJ 07882. A funeral service will be held in the church at 11:00 AM. It is the family's wishes that all in attendance kindly wear masks.
