Obituary of Alice M Ervin

Alice M. Ervin (nee Renda) 67, of Phillipsburg, NJ passed away on August 2, 2022 at Lopatcong Center, Phillipsburg, NJ. Alice was born on October 10, 1954 in Elizabeth, NJ to the late Antonio and Elizabeth Renda. A graduate of Battin High School, she was a homemaker for her beloved husband, Matthew Z Ervin and family. When her daughter was in school, she was very involved as a classroom mom, a member of the PTA, and volunteered for many events. She loved going bowling and to Tricky Trays, as well as to every yard sale she saw. She especially loved spending time with and caring for her family. Alice is survived by her husband Matthew Z Ervin, her daughter, Alison Ervin-Lance and husband, Chris Lance of Hackettstown, NJ, her sisters Carol Kitzler of Alpha, NJ, and Mary Ann Jiminez of Perth Amboy. In addition to her parents, Alice is preceded in death by her sons Anthony and Michael Ervin, her brothers Chris and Anthony Renda. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday August 8, 2022 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ 07882. A Liturgy of the word will be celebrated on August 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St Theodore Roman Catholic Church 855 NJ-57, Port Murray, NJ 07865, followed by a committal service at Pequest Union Cemetery 36 Cemetery Rd, Great Meadows, NJ 07838.
