Obituary of Camille S Kent

Camille S. Kent (nee: DeMarco), 82, of Longs, SC and previously of New Providence, NJ and Constantia, NY passed away on January 19, 2022 at Lopatcong Care Center, Lopatcong, NJ Camille was born on January 25, 1939 in Summit, NJ to the late Carmen and Irene (Firtko) DeMarco. She was a graduate of Summit High School class of 1957. Camille was of Catholic faith. She worked as a Transportation Director for the Camden School District in Camden, NY for twenty years and then retired. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends at Panther Lake in New York and shopping on QVC. She was a wonderful cook and loved sitting around the butcher block cooking with her grandchildren at the lake house. Camille loved keeping up with her growing family by facetiming with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also an avid reader. Camille is survived by her loving children; daughters Sandy Gaito and her husband Anthony, Karen Kelly and her husband Patrick, loving daughter-in-law, Joanne Stortz, She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren; Lynn Kelly, Megan Vachon, Danielle Tetreault and Anthony Gaito II, great grandchildren; Finnley Vachon, Camden Tetreault and Teagan Vachon and her loving sister; Nancy Davis and her husband Jack. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her beloved Maltese dog Annabelle. In addition to her parents, Camille is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kent and her son Robert Stortz. She is also predeceased by her sister, Helen Huffman. A Graveside service will be celebrated on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 10:45 AM at Saint Teresa Cemetery in Summit, NJ 07901.
