Obituary of Joseph Dabkowski

Joseph Dabkowski, 88, a lifelong resident of Glen Gardner and Washington passed away peacefully on October 5, 2021 in his home. Joseph was born on October 22, 1932 in Glen Gardner, NJ to the late John and Anna"Depner" Dabkowski. Joe attended from Hampton High school. He served proudly in the US Army as a corporal during the Korean War. Joe was employed at Mancrete Concrete Pipe Plant in Whitehouse Station as a foreman for more than 30 years. Earlier in his life he worked as a molder for Taylor Wharton in High Bridge for 18 years. Joseph was a 10 time past commander for the VFW Post 5119 in Glen Gardner, NJ. He was an Atlanta Braves, Pittsburg Steelers and NJ Devils fan. He loved to watch old western movies. Joseph is survived by loving wife of 60 years Bernice "Coleman" Dabkowski; Nieces and Nephews Joseph was preceded in death by his brothers Stanley, Zygmund, Theodore and Henry. A sister Jenny Millheim. Memorial service will be announced at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home.
