Obituary of Janet C.Harrison

Janet C. Harrison, 65, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2009. She passed away peacefully in her daughter's home in Washington Township. Born: On March 27, 1944, in Warren, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Douglas and Amber Barres. Personal: She was a resident of West Cape May, NJ for the last seven years. Prior to that she lived in Independence, NJ. She was a bus driver for many years with NJ Transit Senior Services, most recently with Sheppard Bus Service, transporting children in the Cape May School District. Janet graduated from West Morris High School in 1962. She loved yard sales, crocheting, antiquing and shopping on eBay. Her favorite times were spent with family and she absolutely adored her grandchildren. Survivors: She was survived by two daughters, Sheryl and her husband Craig Brouhard of Washington Township and Darby Harrison of W. Cape May; two sons, William and his wife Staci of Washington Borough and Thomas and his wife, Johanna of Long Valley; she is also survived by her brother, James Barres of Avon by the Sea, NJ; and 12 grandchildren, Kaihly, Ryan, Jesse, Allie, Brittany, Dustin, Trevor, Madison, Tommy, Brett, Conner and Madeline. She was predeceased by her husband, Irving W Harrison, in 2002. Services: Visitation will be 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave. Washington, NJ. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment at the Pequest Union Cemetery, Independence Township, NJ. Memorials: May be made to The Cancer Institute of New Jersey, 195 Little Albany St., New Brunswick, NJ 08903. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234. W.
