Charles (Chuck) Jewell of Williams Township, PA, formally of Chenango Bridge, Binghamton, NY passed away peacefully on April 24, 2023 at the age of 66 at home with the love of his life by his side. He was the husband of Joan (Janette) Jewell. He fought till the end because anyone who knew Chuck knows he never gives up. Born on December 3, 1956 in Binghamton, NY to Sandra (MacDonald) Jewell and the late Alan Jewell. Chuck was a 1974 graduate of Chenango Valley Central School, Binghamton, NY. Every year his grandparents Margaret and Charles would take him to his favorite places to visit, the Adirondack Mountains, Lake George and Lincoln Pond in Upstate New York. They had a cabin on Lincoln Pond and would stay there often. They taught him to love the mountains like they did. He loved the mountains and the peace that it brought him. Chuck was an avid motorcycle rider, He loved his Harley-Davidson, when he rode it was just him and his bike, he loved the freedom of the road. Chuck had many friends who he loved dearly, he was a private person, but they knew that they were truely loved by him. He was a supervisor of the roll-off Division with Chrin Hauling for 22 years, Greg and Caryn Chrin treated him like family and stood by his side thoughout his illness. Chuck was preceded in death by his Father Alan, his grandparents Margaret and Charles as well as his brother Scott. Chuck is survived by his wife Joan (Janette) Jewell, His Mother Sandra (MacDonald) Jewell of Chenango Bridge ,Binghamton, NY, a brother Chris of Binghamton NY and his wife Elana and his Niece Linnea, who he adored, A daughter Shonda Marie (Jewell) Sharkey of Florida, a son Charles Edward Jewell of Binghamton, A Son Nick Jewell of Binghamton, NY, a Son Michael McNally and his wife Nicole of Bethlehem Pa., His stepchildren who he loved like his own, Jason, Ryan and Jessica His grandchildren Taylor, Dylan, Isaiah, Miles, Drayden, Dominic, Shane, Kaleb, Bentley and Rilynn. , Skip Richardson of Binghamton, NY, who he always referred to as his "2nd mom", And lastly his loving dog Muggsy, who watched over him thoughout his illness. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for anyone who wishes to honor the life of Chuck.
