Obituary of Julia T McNulty

Julia (Judy) McNulty (Kelly), 83, of Toms River, NJ died peacefully with her daughters by her side in Harmony Township, NJ at the home of her daughter on February 17, 2017. Judy was born on February 19, 1933 in Caltra, County Galway, Ireland to Hubert and Sarah (Devaney) Kelly. She immigrated to the United States in 1948. She started her lifelong career at NJ Bell in 1952 as a telephone operator and retired as a supervisor in 1998. She was married to Patrick McNulty of County Cork, Ireland in West Orange, NJ in April, 1966. They raised their two daughters in Summit, NJ. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Ann Harth and her husband Stephen of Stewartsville, NJ and Julia (Judy) Stahl and her husband Jim of Harmony Township, NJ, and her four beloved grandchildren Kaitlyn Harth, Megan Harth, Allison Stahl and Kevin Stahl. Judy was predeceased by her husband Patrick in 2001, and her siblings Kitty Giordano and Peter Kelly of New Jersey and Bertie Kelly of Ireland. She is survived by her sister Mary Shaffery of Connecticut and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family may pay their respect on Tuesday February 21, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday February 22, 2017 at 10:00 AM from St. Joseph Catholic Church. 200 Carlton Ave. Washington, NJ. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery East Hanover, NJ. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations in Julia's name to the Melanoma Research Foundation, PO Box 759329, Baltimore, MD 21275-9329 https://www.melanoma.org/.
