Obituary of Christopher Douglas Mahoney

Christopher Douglas Mahoney, 26, of Lebanon Township, NJ died suddenly in a motorcycle accident on October 8, 2016 in Solebury, PA. He was born on December 2, 1989 in Raritan Township, NJ to Douglas and Linda Mahoney. Christopher was a graduate of Voorhees High School, class of 2008. He was working for TreeSmiths as an arborist and was co-owner of Regal Grounds Management with Garret Ahlering. Christopher was baptized and confirmed at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church in Hampton, NJ. He had a love for the outdoors and would often go motorcycle riding, kayaking, and snowboarding. He enjoyed playing video games and paint balling. He had a soft spot for his dog, Bandit, and Bearded Dragon, Meek. Chris had a wealth of good friends too numerous to mention and spending time with them was one of his favorite things to do. His big family was everything to him, he had an enormous heart and a kind soul. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving parents, Doug and Linda Mahoney, his caring siblings, Erin, Laura, Jenny, Brian, Sean, Daniel and Tommy Mahoney, his maternal grandparents, David and Gisela Landsbergen, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Frances Mahoney, his uncle, Paul Mahoney, and cousin, Paul Mahoney II. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday October 14, 2016 from 2-7 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, 6 Church Street, Hampton, NJ 08827.
