Obituary of Betty J Pfeiffer

Betty J. Pfeiffer, 83, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2016 at St. Luke’s Anderson Campus in Bethlehem, PA She was born on November 28, 1932 in Bethlehem Township, NJ to the late Arthur and Sadie Maguire Betty was of the Methodist faith and a parishioner of Bloomsbury Methodist Church. She worked in the retail business for years at various stores. She was a talented crafter and participated in many craft shows in NJ & PA. She enjoyed making crafts for those she loved especially. Betty’s many past times included going to the casinos, playing bingo and shopping. Those who knew her will always remember her loving to eat “her fish on Fridays” She devoted her life to her family which she cherished very much. She especially treasured the moments spent with her great grandchildren. Betty is survived by her loving children, 3 daughters, Linda Garvey and her husband Terrence, Darlene Kiley and her husband James and Lisa Pierson and her husband Kenneth. 2 sons, Leonard Black and his wife Kathy and Robert Maguire and his wife Debbie. 3 brothers, Arthur Maguire, Robert Maguire and Richard Maguire. 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her devoted husband Paul Pfeiffer who passed in 2004 and her sisters, Joanne Kinney, Nancy Goerner and Geraldine Peters. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 9-11:00 AM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882 Funeral service will immediately follow visitation at 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
